We the people realize that the current crop of Democrats and Republicans are in fact two sides of the same coin, the party of the wealthy. To reclaim our country from the profiteering traitors currently in office, we need to run 435 Real People for Congress. A doctor, teacher, firefighter, construction worker, and especially the unemployed. Ironically, the unemployed may be the most qualified, as they’ve had the time to read and research the real news and could be the most knowledgeable on current events.

There is no way we could get on the ballot in every state, but we could run as a Real Dem or Republican (or both) in every primary. Openly declaring that we are part of the new Working Family movement… with the net, we can do it. With volunteers such as myself, we can make universal materials exposing the DC corruption, it’s not just the Republicans, it’s the Democrats too! Volunteers can create informative and entertaining flyers, websites, music, videos, we can even compile the info and make it available for cd downloads.

The lies and complicity are exposed- there is no answer to the mountain of evidence available. They only have the media complicity continuing the coverup. With a coordinated movement, we can overcome the media blackout. It is time to realize that We Outnumber Them.

The Working Family platform will be that which the phony Politicians ignore:
Ending the War NOW
Prosecuting the Looters
Rescinding the Billionaire’s tax cuts
Taking the PROFIT out of Health Care
Eliminating the Insurance Industry SCAM
Stop the Oil Companies price gouging
Redistributing the Wealth in a more equitable manner

In May Congress passed $85 Billion more for the War- that’s a lot of jobs. The corrupt Rs and Ds continue throwing money away, creating hatred trying to “bludgeon them [Iraq] into submission” - Howard Zinn.

The Working Family Party will return our nation to the kind and benevolent nation we long to be.

1. We leave Iraq- apologize, and pay for all the damage and suffering that we’ve caused. Saddam was not a threat to America, he had no weapons and no ties to 9/11. 100,000 are dead and all of their family members are pissed off. We must apologize and right the wrongs. That will make us safer.

Thousands of innocents have been picked up off the streets, and they remain in Iraqi prisons built by us. Soldiers have spoken about random sweeps where they pick up all males in the region…. the Red Cross estimates that 70-90% of the prisoners are innocent.

2. Torture!
Depleted Uranium!
Secret CIA Prisons abroad!
“Enemy Combatants” with no rights!
The most prisoners of any industrialized nation!
National ID Cards with RFID Chips!
Tazers killing unarmed citizens!

We the Working Family Party will end this madness.

3. Ending the corporate control of the media- that will make us safer.

How many Americans know that British Troops were caught dressed as Arabs- with a bomb, in a car…. British Troops! Perhaps “Radical Cleric” Moqtada al-Sadr has been right all along as he’s repeatedly stated that the occupying forces were behind the bombings, trying to instigate a civil war. How many Americans know that many Iraqis believe this? How many know that the “Radical” al-Sadr offered peace for UN troops- from any countries but America, Australia and the UK?

The rest of the platform can be hashed out, but it’s mostly self-evident, reversing the ills in our society by Cleaning House in DC.

I’m sure this idea sounds far out there… but what if the ‘progressive blogs’ picked it up, we could have this idea all over the web in a week- we’ve got to dispel the myth that it takes money to win… 50% of the populace didn’t vote in the last election because they’re sick of phony politicians- we don’t need money, just Patriotic Americans willing to speak the truth.
